Chhattisgarh CM’s Challenge: If BJP Has Guts, Then Let ED Live Telecast Sonia Gandhi’s Questioning

The Congress leaders and workers have been protesting and criticizing the BJP-led Central government since the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been questioning the Congress president Sonia Gandhi in a money laundering case. Amidst the nationwide protests by the Congress worker, now Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has slammed the BJP-led Central government.

Chhattisgarh CM Baghel has challenged the Central govt, stating that if the Bharatiya Janata Party led government has courage, then it should install the cameras and live telecast the ED’s questioning to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. He even accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of misusing the power.

The Enforcement Directorate, after questioning former Congress president Rahul Gandhi a few days back, is now questioning Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi in the money laundering case related to National Herald. She was questioned for 2 hours by the ED today and is again called for questioning on July 25.

CM Baghel, during the protest held by the Congress workers in front of the Enforcement Directorate office in Chhattisgarh, further slammed the BJP government, accusing it of harassing Sonia Gandhi, a 75-year-old lady whose health condition isn’t good.

The workers and leaders of the Congress party have been agitating across the country against the questioning of Sonia Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate, accusing the BJP-led Central government of misusing the Central agencies for vendetta politics. However, the BJP has already lashed at the Congress party, stating that the ED is doing its duty.
