College Vidya CEO Grants Half-Day Off After India’s Victory Against Pakistan

India’s resounding triumph over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 brought joy not just to cricket fans but also to the team at College Vidya. Riding the wave of celebration, the company’s co-founder and CEO took to LinkedIn to express his excitement and appreciation for his employees. In a generous move, he announced a half-day off on Monday, allowing his team to revel in the victory before getting back to work.

Encouraging employees to embrace the moment, he wrote:

“Wohooo!! India won and so does my College Vidya team. Are you ready to party? Cause this one’s on me. And College Vidya family has tomorrow (Monday) first half off! It’s official! Party all night, sleep in, and log in for the second half, fully recharged and ready to give your best performance. You deserve it, team!”

He wrapped up his post with an energetic sign-off:

“So, #NoMondayBlues for you. Let’s enjoy this win because this one’s for India, for Us.”

The announcement was met with enthusiasm, with many praising the company’s employee-friendly approach and the CEO’s gesture of recognizing and celebrating workplace morale.

Meanwhile, on the cricketing front, fans witnessed a spectacular performance from Virat Kohli, who put on a masterclass in Dubai. The seasoned cricketer, now 36, delivered an unforgettable knock, scoring his 51st ODI century and leading India to a dominant six-wicket victory over Pakistan.

From the cricket field to the corporate world, the celebrations were in full swing, making it a memorable moment for both India and the College Vidya team.
