Gadar 2 has been creating history at the box office. The film starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel has already crossed the ₹400 crore mark and it is not stopping. The film has beaten Pathaan and Bahubali too.
Gadar 2 was released on August 11, 2023. It clashed with OMG 2 at the box office but the clash did not affect its working. The film already earned ₹100 crore in its first weekend.
One thing that attracted the audience a lot was the originality. The makers of Gadar 2 tried to maintain the originality in their scenes and songs too. Two of its songs Mai Nikla Gaddi Leke and Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava have given a slight modern touch but apart from that the emotion and the rhythm is exactly the same.
Why did Uttam Singh slam the makers of Gadar 2?
Now recently the music composer of Gadar Uttam Singh has slammed the makers of Gadar 2 for using his composition without informing. In an exclusive interview, Uttam Singh has accused the makers for not informing him before using the songs in the sequel.
The composer has also called out the maker’s behavior to be rude and disrespectful.
In an interview with Amar Ujala, Uttam Singh said, as quoted by Hindustan Times “They didn’t call me for Gadar 2 and I don’t have the habit of calling and asking for work. They have used two of my songs in the film and I have also heard that they have used the background music that I composed. They should at least have the etiquette to ask me once and talk to me before using my songs in the film.”
