Dasvi: Release Date And Teaser Of Abhishek Bachchan’s Most-Anticipated Film Unveiled

Digital platforms have now become the source of entertainment for cineholics. The OTT usage was the most successful during the pandemic, as the theaters were then shut. And even now, when the theaters are open, it has not affected the business of OTT platforms. Various majers released their projects online without any problems, and dID well. And there are some more who are planning and keeping a queue of soon to release projects on OTT. And one such film is Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming movie ‘Dasvi’.  

And now as per a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, Dasvi which was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release is now opting for a digital release. The film is expected to come out next month on Netflix and Jio Cinema. The publication quoted a source as saying, “The film will be released on April 7. It is produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. Their last film together, Mimi (2021), premiered on both Jio Cinema and Netflix. Similarly, Dasvi would also be released on both the streaming giants.”

Also, Abhishek took to his social media handle and shared a teaser of Dasvi. In the video, Abhishek is seen sending out a warning to all his fellow jail mates to not make too much noise as he is starting his prep for the 10th board exams. The actor could be seen clad in a kurta and pyjama. Along with it, he shared a poster with the tagline ‘Jail Se Dasvi Karna is my right to education.’

The makers of Dasvi wrapped the film’s shoot last year in April. Speaking of the cast, it features Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam in leading roles The film is touted to be a comedy with a social message, in which Abhishek Bachchan will play the role of a politician Ganga Ram Chaudhary, while Nimrat Kaur will portray Bimla Devi. Yami Gautam will be seen playing a police officer in the movie. The film is helmed by Tushar Jalota.

Everything related to the film seems to be intruding till now. The teaser has caught all the eyes and attention, and now our eyes are set on it’s official trailer.
