It’s almost going to be a year since RRR was released in India, and nobody is still over the crazy love received by the magnum. It starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the leading roles and the film made these south actors pan-India superstars. It was another blockbuster and record-breaker film by SS Rajamouli. Hence the fans have high expectations and are looking forward to more upcoming projects led by SS Rajamouli.
For some time, the upcoming collaboration between SS Rajamouli and south superstar Mahesh Babu has been making rounds on social media. This banger duo is coming together for a jungle adventure film which is tentatively titled SSMB29. But now it is also being said that an actress from Bollywood has been roped in to play the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu.

It is believed SS Rajamouli is set to launch Deepika Padukone in his upcoming movie. For now, the makers of SSMB29 have not approached Deepika Padukone for the role. But the diva is surely their first choice to romance Mahesh Babu.
And if this news comes out to be true, the movie SSMB29 will mark Deepika’s first collaboration with the acclaimed director SS Rajamouli and the much-loved superstar actor Mahesh Babu.

As per an old Pinkvilla report, SSMB29 will be a jungle-based adventure drama and is likely to go on the floors by the first half of next year. Also the writer KV Vijayendra Prasad opened up about the project in a conversation with Pinkvilla. He said that the project will be based on a real-life incident. When asked about the same, he said, “Yes, you can write it. It’s an adventure story, which will roll next year.”

In another interview with Pinkvilla, Mahesh Babu also spilled the beans about the venture, “It’s too early to speak about the film, but it’s a dream come true for me. SS Rajamouli and I have been trying to work together for a long time and it’s finally happening. I am really excited about the film.”
As of now, nothing concrete can be said about this exciting upcoming project as the details are yet to be officially announced.
