Amidst the ongoing political tussle between the saffron party and the AAP on the recent CBI raids at the residence of Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia, over the Delhi government’s excise policy of 2021-22, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that Mr. Manish Sisodia may be arrested in the next 2-3 days.
Earlier Mr. Kejriwal said that in 10 days, Mr. Sisodia may be arrested, however, now he added, “The enthusiasm of the youth of Gujarat makes it clear that now Mr. Sisodia may be arrested in the next 2-3 days. ” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal made this claim while speaking at the townhall program of the AAP, organised in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who was accompanying Mr. Kejriwal, said, “The excitement and enthusiasm of the people of Gujarat to support the Aam Aadmi Party, is the major reason behind these CBI raids.” Moreover, the Aam Aadmi Party is calling it a “politically influenced action” to defame its leaders.
The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) has filed an FIR against 15 people, including deputy CM Manish Sisodia, in the alleged scam in the excise policy of the Kejriwal government. However, since the CBI raids were conducted at Mr. Manish Sisodia’s residence, the Aam Aadmi Party has been accusing the Central government of misusing the agencies like CBI and ED to muzzle its voice.
On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, be it Manoj Tiwari or Anurag Thakur, have been questioning the excise policy of the Kejriwal government, accusing it of promoting corruption in the national capital. Additionally, after Satyendra Jain, Mr. Sisodia is the another top leader of the AAP, who is now under the radar of the central agencies.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party leaders, stating that Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, would be going to Una in Himachal tomorrow, to announce the second guarantee of Arvind Kejriwal for the upcoming elections, have challenged the BJP leaders to stop him if they can.
