Shefali Shah and her team have announced their arrival in style. Netflix has dropped the trailer of the new season of much appreciated Netflix crime thriller web series Delhi Crime Season 2.
The trailer of Delhi Crime Season 2 opened with the story that we are going to witness in the all new season. This time DCP Vartika Chaturvedi and her team will be involved in a helter-skelter ride to catch the ‘Kachha-Baniyan Gang’, a gang of serial killers who kill old age people. Apart from this, the trailer succeeded in hiding the major story elements well. And to know the reason of the murders and will DCP Vartika get success in catching the ominous gang.

The trailer of Delhi Crime Season 2 promises a rollercoaster ride full of crime, suspense and thrill. The trailer marks the return of the master in the business, Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi. Rasika Duggal, Rajesh Tailang and Yashaswini Dayama are the other stars who are seen in the trailer.
After the massive success of Delhi Crime (season 1) which released in 2019, netizens were waiting for the second season of the crime thriller.
Season 1 of Delhi Crime dealt with the aftermath of a 2012- gangrape case. The original series was released on Netflix on 22 March 2019. Critics and audiences praised the script, premise and performance of the main cast members. The 2019 released series was also nominated for various awards globally and won many of them including the prestigious International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series 2020.

Now coming back to much awaited Delhi Crime season 2 is scheduled to premiere globally from August 26th, 2021 on Netflix. Shefali and team will be hoping to get the same response as they got from the original 2019 season.
Talking about Shefali Shah who is playing lead in this awaited series, she was last seen in recently released bollywood movie ‘Darlings’ on Netflix. She was brilliant in her role of Mehrunnissa. Hence, now we are expecting Shefali to cast her acting spells in the season 2 of Delhi Crime as well.
