Delhi: Manish Sisodia’s Questioning By CBI: Full Day Of Political Tussle Between AAP And BJP

The CBI questioning Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia and the full day political tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP, has taken a new angle, with Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal claiming that the Central government has planned to keep Mr. Sisodia in jail till the Gujarat elections get declared.

Moreover, Delhi CM Kejriwal claimed that the saffron party did not want Mr. Manish Sisodia campaigning in Gujarat for the Aam Aadmi Party. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party calls it a publicity stunt to divert the people’s attention from the alleged scam in the Delhi Excise Policy.

Meanwhile, the CBI has been questioning Mr. Sisodia. Reportedly, the agency started questioning him in connection with alleged scam in the implementation of Delhi Excise Policy of 2021-2022, which was introduced by the Kejriwal government, later taken back. While the BJP claims that there’s a multi-crore scam in the liquor policy of Kejriwal government, the AAP denies all the allegations.

However, in this peak election time, Manish Sisodia’s questioning by the CBI, has been opposed by the AAP leaders and workers, claiming it to be an attempt to defame the AAP and its honest leaders by the BJP for political gains in Gujarat. Furthermore, the polls in Gujarat, being ruled by the Saffron party for the last 27 years, are to be held in the next two months.

For the first time, the AAP has been campaigning day and night, challenging the BJP in the western state.  Meanwhile, adding that the Centre plans on keeping Manish Sisodia in Jail till the announcement of elections, Delhi CM Kejriwal, in a rally, raised the slogan, “After the AAP comes to power – Jail ke taale tootenge, Manish Sisodia Chhootenge.”

Subsequently, the counting of the votes in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will take place on December 8, however, no voting schedule has been announced for Gujarat yet. Though, Manish Sisodia’s arrest has increased the never ending war of words between the AAP and the BJP.
