‘Breathtaking Action Sequences’: Details About Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 Out!

Utkarsh Sharma confessed that he had to take intensive parkour training for the action sequences in Gadar 2. Just like the film’s first part, Gadar 2 will feature Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the leading roles. Utkarsh, who played the young son of the couple in Gadar, will be seen portraying the same kid’s grown-up character in the sequel film. 

While releasing some exclusive details about the film, Utkarsh Sharma said, “Sunny sir is an institution and a great pool of immense talent, dedication, honesty, discipline and more importantly he’s a great human being. From sharing screen space with him as a child actor to working with him now, I can say that he’s still the same, supportive, caring, and inspiring. I am lucky to get the opportunity of relieving the good old days with Sunny sir and will always cherish memories working with him.”

Utkarsh also revealed the special action sequences which will be made part of the film. “While ‘Gadar’ is still remembered for its mind-blowing and real action sequences apart from stellar performances, impactful dialogues, and melodious music, the second part will also feature some breathtaking action sequences that the audience have not witnessed on the big screen before.

He also added, “To prepare for the same. I had to learn parkour for almost a month under the guidance of trained action choreographers from the South Indian film industry to ensure that the action scenes look relatable and believable. It was a great experience to learn a new fitness regime.”

Moreover, coming to the credits, Gadar 2 is being directed by Utkarsh Sharma’s father Anil Sharma and the sequel will follow up the story of Gadar released in 2002. This much awaited movie is all set to hit the silver screens on 15 August 2023.
