Though the song in itself was an absolute treat, Jaani’s presence in the video worked as an added advantage. Further after appearing in the trailer of the most awaited film Qismat 2, the level of the excitement in his fans increased. But the question arises whether it’s his one time shot or will the lyricist be stepping into acting. To clarify this dilemma, Qismat 2 starrer Ammy Virk revealed in one of the interviews that from a long time Jaani was planning to act in movies, but was not getting the perfect opportunity. So, during the time when director-writer Jagdeep Sidhu was choosing the cast, he approached Jaani and asked for his cameo appearance.
Jaani who has great looks and personality fit this brief role. In fact Jagdeep also told him that it’s not compulsory, if he feels comfortable then only he should work. Ammy further added that it is difficult for a person to act infront of camera especially if he/she doesn’t belong to acting background. To illustrate perfect reactions for amateur actors is difficult, so keeping in mind the same, Jagdeep told Jaani that he can act and after the shot is prepared he can watch and decide whether he wants to work or not. Hence, Jaani was excited and worked hard and this is how he acted in the film.
