An Indian film actor and theatre artist, Jagjeet Sandhu has been working in Punjabi cinema since his debut in Rupinder Gandhi movie in 2015. He is one of the most talented artists we have in the industry. His role in the movie ‘Sufna’ gathered a lot of appreciation.

His career as an actor is flourishing and therefore he has now become one of the well-paid actors of the industry. However, his career wasn’t always so smooth. Do you know as a child artist he used to only earn Rs 50 for each performance?

Jagjeet got into acting at a very young age and therefore he participated in many school plays and drama programs. Reportedly, he was just 7 years of age when he became a part of a theatre group in Amloh. He did a number of street plays in Punjab and earned Rs 50 for his performances.

That was the initial point of his career and since then he has been working hard day and night to reach the level of success he has achieved today. He has been able to make his name as an actor as evident from his role in one of the very popular Hindi web series ‘Leila’.
