Went to a wedding & didn’t groove on this song, then did you actually went to a wedding? The song we are talking about is Jasmine Sandals and Garry Sandhu’s Laddu. This is the song in which the two came together for the first time, but you might not know, Jasmine was not the first choice to sing this song.
Garry wanted to do this song with Nasibo Lal, for which Gary tried hard to reach out through a lot of people, but it didn’t work out. Then, because Gary also liked Jasmine’s vocals. He asked Jasmine for this song, for which Jasmine denied.
Jasmine said she doesn’t want to be a part of the song and play the character of a sister in law. But somehow Gary persuaded her and the song was made.
By the way, it was the same song that made the two meet, eat the laddu of love.

ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੇ ਗਏ, ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਨੱਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੇ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਅਸੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਓਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਹੈ, ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਸੈਂਡਲਸ ਤੇ ਗੈਰੀ ਸੰਧੂ ਦਾ ਲੱਡੂ। ਇਹ ਓਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਨੋ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਆਏ, ਲੇਕਿਨ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਸਾਂ ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਗੈਰੀ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਸੀਬੋ ਲਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਗੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਰਹਿ ਓਹਨਾ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕੀ। ਫੇਰ ਗੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਦਾ ਵੋਕਲ ਵੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਦੀ। ਇਸਲਈ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੇ ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਪੁਛਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਜਿਹੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਓਹ ਗਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਭਾਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਬੰਤ ਗਿਆ।
ਵੈਸੇ ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਗਾਣਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਨੋ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ, ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਲੱਡੂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ।
