The Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira starrer Jodi has been one of the most awaited Punjabi movies ever. Recently Diljit Dosanjh held a ‘QnA’ session on his instagram story with his fans and one of the fans asked him about the release date of Jodi. Diljit did not reveal the release date but made some shocking revelations.
When asked about the release date of the film, Diljit Dosanjh replied that coronavirus is very unpredictable and for this reason, he too doesn’t have any idea about the release date. But this was not what grabbed our attention. Diljit Dosanjh went on to add more to his reply and make a shocking revelation.
The movie ‘Jodi’ will have Tru Skool as a major music producer. The British-Punjabi music producer has 10 to 15 songs in the film! Yes, you heard it right, 15 songs in a single movie. If this is true, Jodi will become the Indian movie with the second highest number of songs in a single film, overtaking Bollywood classic ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun..!’ which has 14 songs.
The Diljit-Nimrat starrer Jodi has been a highly anticipated project since its announcement. The reveal of Diljit and Nimrat’s looks from the sets added more to public curiosity. The shooting for the film is completed and it was even set for its official release on June 24th. But Coronavirus has emerged as a major spoiler this year. Now, things are loosening up and even theatres have been reopened. We can expect Jodi to release very soon!
