Diljit Dosanjh and Ali Abbas Zafar who first collaborated for an intense drama set against the backdrop of the 1984 Sikh Riots had again made headlines for their upcoming film. Recently singer turned actor Diljit Dosanjh confirmed in an interview that the upcoming film titled ‘Detective Sherdil’ which went on the floors in Budapest has lately wrapped up the shoot.
Diljit Dosanjh To Lead In Ali Abbas Zafar’s Upcoming Project ‘Detective Sherdil’
In the film, Diljit Dosanjh will play the lead role of an investigator. Detective Sherdil would be a crime comedy and would also feature Sumeet Vyas, Boman Irani, and Banita Sandhu in leading roles.
The makers of the film haven’t shared much information regarding the movie on their social media but we are eagerly waiting for their announcement.
Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has many other projects to be released in upcoming months. Honsla Rakh with Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill which will release on October 15, Jodi with Nimrat Khaira and recently he announced ‘Shikra’ which will be directed by Amberdeep Singh.
