Punjabi singer and artist Diljit Dosanjh’s name is everywhere these days. Diljit is constantly making headlines for his Dil-Luminati music concert tour. It started from Delhi last month and has now reached Pune where the audience at his music concert had to celebrate dry food.
The Maharashtra Excise Department has banned alcohol in Diljit Dosanjh’s Pune concert. This decision came before the start of the concert, due to which it was considered a big blow to the organization. Diljit Dosanjh’s concert was organized in the Kothrud area of Pune late night on Sunday 24 November. Like always, this time too a large number of people became a part of his music concert, but the Maharashtra Excise Department caused a big disturbance in his celebration and cancelled the permit to serve alcohol before the start of Diljit’s concert.
According to the news of E Times, a plan was proposed to the state excise department for permission to serve alcohol for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert held in Pune on Sunday. Acting on this, the department banned this liquor. Kothrud BJP MLA Chandrakant Patil and other department members also called it against other residents and culture of the area.
In this way, Diljit Dosanjh’s Pune music concert was a bit dull, but despite this, there was no decrease in the number of audience in the concert and thousands of people enjoyed Diljit’s concert.
This is not the first time that Diljit Dosanjh’s music concert has been in controversy regarding alcohol. Earlier recently, Diljit had done a music concert in Hyderabad, in which there was controversy over two songs of the singer, in which lines about alcohol were present.
