Our forever favorite Diljit Dosanjh has earned the love and respect of his fans many times. And the same happened with one of his Instagram posts. He shared a video of a young kid, who was excited about an amount of 10,000 received in his bank account. In response to this, Diljit became emotional, which made him share his throwback story too when he had received payment after his first show.
He wrote he earned 5,000 rupees, which he didn’t know what to spend on. But he remembered his promise to an old man, who lived nearby where he lived. He promised him that he would buy him a bicycle when he’d start working. He kept his words and bought him a new bicycle from his first earnings. Remembering this incident, he wrote he was also as happy as the boy in the video, after gifting the old man a bicycle. He also wrote a very beautiful and emotional message and concluded that now, he has earned a lot of money, but lost that happiness. Happiness is still there, but not the same.
The video of the boy made him emotional, and his post made us emotional too. This story gives us reason to love him even more. We must say, all the love he receives today, is the response of what he did for others.
