When we talk about the most adorable couples of Bollywood, undeniably the king of romance, Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan strikes in our mind. And like in movies, he is a crazy lover boy in real life as well. But do you know there was a point in the duo’s relationship when Gauri had considered leaving Shah Rukh?
Gauri had confessed this in one of the episodes of Karan Johar hosted Koffee With Karan and said the reason was Shah Rukh Khan being too possessive. As SRK was 18 and Gauri was just 14, she said she thought maybe it was too young for them to decide anything to get married. So, she just took a short break. As he was too possessive for her and she could not handle that. She further added that she wanted her own space and did this thing for a while. Later, she went back to him.
Not only this, in earlier interviews, Shah Rukh had expressed that he did not like Gauri talking to other men as it was his first relationship. Moreover, the king of romance had also revealed that Gauri turned down his proposal as even her parents did not like him much.

The duo fell in love at a very young age. The two crossed paths while attending a common friend’s party. After being in a relationship for a long time, the couple decided to get married on October 25, 1991. Now they are blessed with three kids: Aryan, Suhana and Abram Khan.
