In a gripping counter-terror operation in Tral, Jammu and Kashmir, drone footage captured a chilling moment, two armed Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists trying to take cover near a dense cluster of trees moments before being neutralised by Indian security forces.
The encounter took place in the upper reaches of the forest in the Chankitar area of Tral. The terrorists, who had been hiding in the region, opened fire on the troops during a search operation. Indian forces swiftly responded, launching a coordinated offensive that ended with both militants killed.
The drone footage released shows the militants lying low behind a tree stump, clutching weapons as Indian security forces close in. This visual proof highlights how modern surveillance tech is giving forces a strategic edge in volatile zones like South Kashmir.

Officials confirmed that both slain terrorists were affiliated with Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. This successful operation is being seen as a major blow to attempts to destabilize the region.
The bodies, along with a cache of arms and ammunition, were recovered from the site. A combing operation continued in the area to ensure no further threats remained.
