Dubai has officially shut down the viral claim about offering a ₹23 lakh lifetime Golden Visa to Indian citizens. Social media was flooded with posts and influencer videos suggesting Indians could now buy UAE residency with a one-time payment. But the UAE’s immigration body—known as the ICP—has called these reports “false and misleading.”
The rumour claimed the UAE had launched a pilot program offering Golden Visas for AED 100,000, which is around ₹23 lakh, with no need for a job, property, or investment. A company called Rayad Group was even named in the viral posts. The ICP has now made it clear—there is no such offer. They’ve also warned that legal action will be taken against those spreading fake news. Meanwhile, many Indians took to social media with memes and jokes, poking fun at the sudden “shortcut” to Dubai life.
So what’s real? You cannot buy a UAE Golden Visa with ₹23 lakh. The actual visa is given to selected professionals—like scientists, students, investors, or skilled workers—based on merit and nomination. You can’t just pay and apply. The only safe way to apply is through official UAE channels. The fake posts have gone viral, but the facts are now clear.
