The sequel to the superhit 2014 Bollywood Release, Ek Villain, will release worldwide in theatres on 8 July, 2022. 8 July, 2022 is also the date of Eid al-Adha 2022. The holy day for the Muslims has been chosen by the makers of Ek Villain Returns grand release.

The movie is set to star top Bollywood actors in the lead roles. John Abraham, Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor And Tara Sutaria will star in the lead roles of the film. It is presented by two of the biggest production houses of the country, T Series and Balaji Telefilms.
It is sequel to ‘Ek Villain’ released in 2014. The movie starred Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor and went on to become one of the year’s biggest superhits. It grossed over Rs. 1 billion in the country and 1.7 billion in the whole world. The film was also directed by Mohit Suri.
The sequel to the movie was first named Ek Villain 2. It was later renamed to Ek Villain returns. It was officially announced on 30 January, 2020 by the makers as being under development. And today, the release date of the most awaited Bollywood film has been made public!
