Elvish Yadav Gets An Extortion Call Demanding ₹1 Crore, Gurugram Police Reveals The Motive

Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 recently allegedly received an extortion call where the accused demanded ₹1 crore from him. The Gurugram police, on Thursday arrested a 24 year old man who demanded ₹1 crores from Elvish Yadav in an alleged extortion. 

On Wednesday, Elvish Yadav registered a case as he received a WhatsApp message demanding ₹40 lakhs. After the demand increased upto ₹1 crores. The Gurugram police arrested the accused from Gujarat and revealed the motive behind the extortion. 

News agency ANI posted the video after the arrest on their official X channel. Varun Dahiya, ACP Crime Branch said, “Gurugram Police with cooperation from Gujarat Police has arrested one, Shakir Makrani, a resident of Vadnagar. He was influenced by Yadav; to earn money he made this plan to make extortion calls.”

He further adds, as quoted by the India TV, “Elvish Yadav was on a foreign trip with his manager, and upon returning on October 17, he found threatening messages on his WhatsApp. Initially, the demands were for 40 lakh rupees, which later escalated to 1 crore rupees. After an investigation into Elvish’s complaint, the Gurugram Police filed an FIR on October 25 and subsequently conducted a raid in Gujarat, leading to the arrest of a 24-year-old man named Shakir Makrani.”

Elvish Yadav is a youtube influencer who has two youtube channels and has millions of subscribers. He recently won the second season of Bigg Boss OTT.
