Errol Musk, father of tech magnate Elon Musk and a recent addition to the Global Advisory Board of Indian green tech firm Servotech Power Systems, is set to visit India in June. According to industry insiders, his itinerary includes both business engagements and a spiritual stop at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Musk’s five-day visit is scheduled from June 1 to June 6, following which he will travel to South Africa.
“(Errol) Musk’s itinerary is packed with events aimed at promoting India’s strategic push to become a global leader in green technologies and EV charging infrastructure exports,” people in the know of the development said.
Upon his arrival in New Delhi on June 1, Musk will attend high-level meetings on June 2 with Indian policymakers, investors, corporate leaders, and officials from various ministries during a company-hosted event.
He is also expected to tour Servotech’s solar and electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturing plant in Safiabad, Haryana. State government officials and senior bureaucrats are anticipated to join the visit, sources confirmed.
“Musk will also visit Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Ram Mandir to seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla, reflecting his engagement with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage,” they said.
In observance of World Environment Day on June 5, Servotech will conduct a major tree plantation drive as part of Musk’s visit, underscoring the importance of sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Musk will conclude his India trip and depart for South Africa on June 6.
Earlier this month, on May 5, Servotech Power Systems announced Musk’s induction into its Global Advisory Board. The company noted that Musk, an influential figure in technology and sustainable development, would offer strategic guidance to its leadership team.
