Even During The Elections, There Were Various Attempts To Kill My Son: Sidhu Moose Wala’s Father

Renowned Punjabi Singer late Sidhu Moose Wala’s Father Balkaur Singh, made his first public appearance since Sidhu’s murder, during the inauguration a road in Burj Dhalwa village in Mansa district on Monday. During the elections, Sidhu Moose Wala promised about this road.

During the inauguration ceremony of the road, Moose Wala’s father Balkaur Singh said, “during the time of assembly elections, more than 8 attempts were made to kill my son, though due to his security, he was saved. But this new government scaled down the security of my son and many other people, the news went viral across the media, and next day he was killed.”

“He contested the election with hope, but when he lost, all of us were sad. Then he went to Dubai for a show, and after he returned, he said that he will be working for the area and its people, but won’t be contesting the elections as the attitude of the politicians was not good,” he further added.

Slamming the Aam Aadmi Party government, he said, “today, the gangsters are running a parallel government in Punjab. No politicians or gangsters will be killed, only the kids of common men are being murdered in the state.” Though the investigation is under process and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is under the custody of Punjab police, the government is still being criticized for its step to scale down the security of 424 VIPs.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, a day after his security was curtailed by the state government. After that, Moose Wala’s family even met union Home minister Amit Shah in Chandigarh, demanding a fair probe and strict action against the culprits.
