According to Pinkvilla’s report, Farhan Akhtar’s wife Shibani Dandekar is pregnant and she will become the mother of her first child. However, many people are saying that Shibani is 44 years old and it is not possible to become a mother naturally at this age. Therefore, it is possible that they are going to become parents through surrogacy or IVF technique. At present, we do not confirm this. And till now the couple has not officially announced anything.
Farhan Akhtar has married twice. His first marriage was with Adhuna Bhabani in the year 2000. Before this, both were in a relationship for 3 years. The two first met during Farhan’s directorial debut movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. With this film, Adhuna made her Bollywood debut as a hairstylist. They had two daughters – one Shakya and the other Akira.
After several years of marriage, their relationship soured. On 21 January 2016, they announced separation. Their relationship broke down after 16 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in April 2017. Adhuna has the custody of both the girls.
A year later, in 2018, Farhan started dating VJ Shibani Dandekar. On 19 February 2022, they got married in the presence of family at a farmhouse in Khandala. They got married without any religious rituals. On 21 February, a reception party was also hosted in Bandra. Farhan is a Muslim and Shibani is a Hindu. Farhan is 51 years old and Shibani is 44. There is an age difference of 7 years between the two. After 3 years of marriage, there is news of Shibani’s pregnancy. She will give birth to her first child.
