Actor, singer and director Parmish Verma is leaving no stone unturned to serve his fans with more songs and movies. He had announced the upcoming Punjabi movie Tabaah, and now, the female lead of the film has also been revealed.
The actor who was recently seen in Main Te Bapu with his real-life father Dr Satish Verma will be next seen in Tabaah. In the film, a very versatile and brilliant actress will be seen playing the lead role, who is currently enjoying appreciation for her acting in the Netflix series Mai and the recently released Punjabi movie Galwakdi.
The hints we have given you are strong enough and you must have rightly guessed that she is none other than Wamiqa Gabbi. To reveal the same, Parmish took to his Instagram account where he shared a set of three pictures posing with Wamiqa Gabbi.
On the other hand, Wamiqa too shared the same pictures on her Instagram account and both the actors confirmed their pairing for Tabaah. Moreover, the duo is not pairing up for the first time, as they also starred opposite each other in the Punjabi movie Dil Diyaan Gallan in 2019.

The audience really loved and enjoyed watching them together which ensures that it will be a treat for fans to watch them share screens once again.
Coming to the credits and more details of the film, its story has been written by Gurjind Maan, and Parmish himself is producing and directing the project. Reportedly, Parmish gained 35 kg weight for the film and had a hard time losing all that weight.

Also, in the poster, Parmish is seen as an unhealthy fat person who is smoking. And this made netizens compare the theme of the film to Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh.
But Parmish had a well-prepared reply for the comparison as he said, ‘Just because you people have sighted at the smoking shot and the dusky look in the poster, it doesn’t mean it would be a Kabir Singh remake. Don’t judge the film so soon, if you will not like the film, that would be a separate issue. Don’t hate the film for the wrong reasons.’
For now, the release date of the film has not been finalized or unveiled, but everyone has their eyes set on the project. The Punjabi film industry is growing and the best part is that various filmmakers and actors are experimenting to try something new as well.
