On Independence Day, Deepika Padukone shared the first glimpse of her upcoming film ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the video introduces you to all the three actors playing air force Jawans.
In an exclusive interview as quoted by India Today, Sidhharth Anand said that “I always say this, that my female parts are really strong, and very exciting. Deepika is also playing an Air Force officer in ‘Fighter’. She’s part of the unit, the elite unit of the Air force, and it’s based on a lot of reality and authenticity. So it’s something that Deepika has not played before. She has literally bitten into it and, honestly, it’s a lot like her in real life.”
Siddharth Anand is a great director as he has also made superhit films like Pathan and War.
Fighter is set to release on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day, which is 25 January 2024. The video features Hrithik, Deepika and Anil Kapoor as Air Force Officers with Vande Mataram playing in the background.

Yesterday on 14 August, Deepika Padukone shared the a poster that read “ Spirit of Fighter This Independence Day” hinting towards the release of her upcoming film. The actress also mentioned the time “10 am” in her caption telling her fans that something special is going to be shared soon.
