Vicky Kaushal has recently announced his new upcoming film and fans can’t keep calm about it. It’s name is ‘Mahavatar’. His first look poster from the film has also been revealed and surely you have never seen such an avatar of him before. For this film, he has joined hands with Dinesh Vijan, who is known for the horror-comedy movies ‘Stree’ and ‘Stree 2’. This film will be released two years later in the year 2026.
Giving information about the film, Maddock Films tweeted that Dinesh Vijan has brought to life the story of the eternal warrior of Dharma. It is directed by Amar Kaushik. Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Chiranjeevi Parashurama in #Mahavatar. It is coming to theaters in the year 2026 on the occasion of Christmas.
It is being said that after finishing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Love and War’, Vicky Kaushal will start shooting for ‘Mahavatar’ in November 2025 and pre-production work will be done in January. After ‘Love and War’, Vicky was looking to sign a mega feature film and producer Dinesh Vijan came up with a script that he couldn’t refuse.
Vicky is working on many interesting projects. Last year he was seen in ‘Sam Bahadur’. After this, he came up with a light comedy in ‘Bad News’. Now he will be seen in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji in ‘Chava’. It may be released in December this year.
