From Selfiee to Call it Love: List of 10 New OTT Releases to Binge-Watch

In the last week of February’s new OTT releases, the competition is about to get even tougher than it already is, with The Romantics and The Night Manager becoming popular on various platforms. A number of new films, including Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, are coming to theaters and various OTT platforms.

1. The Company You Keep 

Release Date: 20th February 

Platform: Disney+ Hotstar

Disney+ Hotstar is good to go to carry out one more intriguing show after raising a ruckus around town’s eye with Aditya Roy Kapur starrer The Night Director. The story of a conman who falls in love with an undercover CIA agent is told in the new series, which goes by the name “The Company You Keep.” The new series starring Milo Catherine Haena Kim and Ventimiglia is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat thanks to its high level of action, mystery, drama, and suspense.

2. Call it Love

Release Date: 22nd February 

Platform: Disney+ Hotstar 

Call It Love, a brand-new Korean series on Disney+ Hotstar, joins a long list of intriguing new OTT releases of the last week of February. The intense Korean drama about a woman whose life takes an unpredictable turn after her father’s sudden death stars Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-kwang in the lead roles. She intends to take her father’s mistress to task for throwing her out of the house; however, she finds herself falling in love with the mistress’ son.

3. Heirs of Night Season 2 

Release Date: 22nd February 

Platform: MX Player

Season 2 of Heirs of Night focuses on the five remaining European vampire clans who band together to protect the world from Dracula’s enduring darkness. The younger ones will now be permitted to attend a vampire-only school while the elders resolve their differences. Can these young vampires from these various clans overcome their differences and save the world?

4. The Consultant

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Amazon Prime Video

The new series The Consultant on Amazon Prime Video features Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz as its protagonist. The dark thriller-drama is based on a novel by Bentley Little about a consultant hired to oversee the gaming company’s operations after a major merger fails. As he begins to run the business on his own, new challenges arise for the employees at work. As Patoff’s methods begin to have an impact on the personal life of his employee, the situation continues to deteriorate.

5. Die Hart 

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has remade Kevin Hart’s popular television series Die Hart into a movie. The fictional Hart, who aspires to be an action hero, will be the focus of the upcoming film. However, the drama’s real twist comes when he enrolls in an action-hero academy to pursue his dream. However, will he be able to pass and realize his ambition? The film also stars John Travolta and Nathalie Emmanuel in important roles. 

6. We have a Ghost

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Netflix

Do you remember Anthony Mackie from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier by Marvel Studios? A fun drama about a middle-aged man who finds out his new house is haunted by a ghost, stars the actor Jennifer Coolidge and David Harbour. The first one decides to assist the ghost in investing in his past while they form a friendly relationship. However, when the CIA examines its investigation, it diverges from its original course.

7. Selfiee 

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Theatre

Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, is scheduled to hit theaters this Friday (24th February). Raj Mehta directs the multi-starrer about Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar going to the RTO to renew his driver’s license. However, a miscommunication with an RTO officer causes a verbal altercation that quickly develops into a feud that is witnessed by the entire nation.

8. Borrder 

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Theatre

Actress Regina Cassandra has teamed up with Arun Vijay and Stefy Patel for an edge-of-your-seat spy thriller written and directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam after serving as the show’s headliner on the brand-new ZEE5 show Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke. The film, which is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday 24th, is about an officer who runs an anti-terrorist operation and is set in a military setting.

9. Call me Chihiro

Release Date: 23rd February 

Platform: Netflix

Call Me Chihiro, a brand-new Japanese film on Netflix, is included on last week of February list of new OTT releases. The story of a former sex worker who begins a new life in a small seaside town by working at a bento shop is based on a manga series by Hiroyuki Yasuda called Chihirosan. Will the new job help Chihiro, played by Kasumi Arimura, overcome her loneliness?

10. Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 5

Release Date: 24th February 

Platform: Netflix

Another adrenaline-pumping series, season 5 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive, is coming to Netflix. The new season of the docuseries continues to provide viewers with glimpses into the lives of drivers, team owners, and managers both on and off the track. The upcoming season will focus on team transformations following ownership changes.
