Gangster Tinu Escape Case: Punjab AIG Ashish Kapoor’s Police Custody Extended By 3 Days On Court’s Order

On the orders of a special court, the police custody of AIG Ashish Kapoor, the incharge of Mansa CIA unit, who had been suspended and arrested by the VB (Vigilance Bureau), has been extended by 3 days. Furthermore, the Vigilance Bureau officials, in the court, stated that AIG Ashish Kapoor did not give them his bank details during the interrogation.

Additionally, this raises more questions against AIG Ashish Kapoor, who’s suspicious role behind gangster Deepak Tinu’s escape, is under investigation by the Vigilance Bureau of the Punjab police. Moreover, the court’s ruling came when the VB produced AIG Ashish Kapoor and ASI Harjinder Singh in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Harpreet Kaur. Additionally, the VB informed the court about a transaction of Rs. 15 lakh, made by AIG Kapoor to a Karnal based Jewellery shop.

Shockingly, the Vigilance Bureau even submitted a list of 10 witnesses, in whose bank accounts the alleged bribe money had been transferred by AIG Kapoor and the other accused. Moreover, the VB, in the court, asserted that it has to do recoveries from AIG Ashish Kapoor and the other who are accused in gangster Tinu’s escape. Additionally, this incidence has raised numerous questions on the administration in Punjab. Likewise, Sidhu Moose Wala’s mother also slammed the system for Tinu’s escape.

However, recently the Punjab police succesfully nabbed gangster Tinu’s girlfried from Mumbai airport, which is seen as a major breakthrough in the ongoing probe in Tinu’s escape. Subsequently, the officials claimed that they will soon find and arrest gangster Tinu as well. Though there are specultaions of gangster Tinu flying abroad, reportedly to Maldives. Moreover, it’s a challenge for the Punjab police to nab gangster Tinu as soon as possible.

Eminent Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, at his native village in Mansa, Punjab, after which, the Punjab police nabbed gangster Lawerence Bishnoi and many of his associates. Reportedly, gangster Tinu is one of the main accused in Moose Wala’s murder and a close-aide of gangsters Lawerence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. The search operation to arrest gangster Tinu, is ongoing, and the officials are hoping to find him very soon.
