A disturbing video from Ghaziabad has gone viral, showing a police officer threatening a woman by saying he’d frame her husband in a fake rpe case. The officer, whose identity remains undisclosed, is seen hurling abuse and claiming that a rpe FIR is powerful enough to jail anyone, regardless of innocence.
His words – “Ek baar FIR ho jaaye, toh koi bhi jail chala jaata hai” – have triggered widespread anger and debate online. Social media platforms are flooded with condemnation, with many questioning the abuse of authority and calling for strict disciplinary action against the officer.
However, amid the outrage, a few online users claimed the woman may have been pressuring or provoking the cop during the exchange – though no evidence currently supports that claim.
Despite the video’s widespread circulation and the public’s demand for justice, Ghaziabad Police have not yet released any formal statement or taken visible action.
The incident raises serious concerns over police misconduct and the potential misuse of laws meant to protect citizens. It also highlights the urgent need for accountability and transparency within the law enforcement system.
Citizens and activists alike are urging the authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that those misusing their power face appropriate consequences.
