Prime Minister Narendra Modi was giving a speech during his rally in Hyderabad. The PM had to interrupt his speech in the middle because he noticed a young girl climbing a tall structure that had lights on it. The structure was fixed on the parade ground.
Madigan Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) organized a a meeting which was addressed by PM. MRPS is a community organization of Madigas who are one of the biggest constituents of Scheduled Castes in Telugu speaking states.
As the condition of the electric wire wasn’t so good, PM Narendra Modi repeatedly asked the girl to climd down as it was hazardous too.
The girl was trying to convey a message to the PM when she caught his attention. PM Modi asked her to climb down in Hindi which was then translated in Telugu by Rajya Sabha member K Laxman. Modi ji said, as quoted by Ndtv “Beta, I will listen to you. Please come down and sit. It may short-circuit. This is not correct. I came for you people. There is no use doing such things.”
After the incident, the senior official said that they are verifying all the details about the girl and our PM assured her that he will listen to her message.
