He shared a picture along with a gratitude note, which reads, “This wonderful online family is not what I expected when I joined Instagram and I have you to thank for it.”
People started congratulating him and wishing him good luck. While many in the comments section showered compliments on Mr Tata, one Instagram user was criticized for referring to him as “chhotu” in a congratulatory comment.
Yes, you read right. Instagram user Rhea Jain commented ‘Congratulations Chhotu’ along with a red heart emoticon. Further, immediately after her comment, netizens were bombarded with a flurry of messages calling the comment ‘disrespectful’ and ‘shameful’.

While many continued to criticize her choice of words, Mr Tata himself responded to the comment. He wrote, “There is a child in each of us. Please treat this young lady with respect,” he wrote, adding a smiley face at the end.
Later it was learnt that the girl deleted the viral comment after getting trolled by Instagram users. And after that, Ratan Tata sorted out the issue in a series of Instagram stories.
