Navjeet Channi, son of the chief minister of Punjab; Charanjit Channi has recently tied the knot with Simran Kaur in a simple wedding ceremony. CM Channi has shared the glimpse from the wedding ceremony and the pictures are proof that simplicity never goes outdated. In the pictures, the bride and groom were seen seeking blessings in the Gurdwara Sacha Dhan Sahib, Mohali, and in others the family and friends were seen posing and having their meals.
Navjeet Channi is an engineering graduate and his wife Simran Kaur is currently pursuing MBA. Though they tied the knot in a sweet and simple ceremony, the occasion marked the presence of renowned political leaders like the Governor of Punjab; Banwarilal Purohit, the general secretary of Congress; Harish Rawat, Deputy Chief Minister; Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, and other ministers like MLA Rana Gurmit Sodhi, Manpreet Singh Badal and more.
As per reports, CM Channi kept the arrangements simple with police protection, to make sure that no discomfort is caused to people due to his son’s marriage. He himself drove his son and his bride in his personal car from his house to the Gurudwara sahib.
