Govinda To Be Questioned For Ponzi Scheme Worth Rs 1000 Crores? His Manager Issues Official Statement

Recently Govinda was deeply involved in a controversy after the reports went viral from the Odisha Economic offenses Wing. As per the reports, he will be facing the EOW of Odisha for a probe in pan India ponzi scheme which is worth ₹1000 crores. 

Now after the reports went viral on social  media, his manager Shashi Sinha reacted to them and issued an official statement. As per the manager, the news is a ‘half-baked news’ and Govinda has ‘nothing to do with it.’

The statement has been issued a day after it went viral that Govinda will be questioned by the Odisha EOW for working with a company, Solar Techno Alliance that has been found guilty for ponzi scheme worth ₹1000 crores. 

While speaking to TOI, the EOW inspector JN Pankaj said “We will soon send a team to Mumbai to question filmstar Govinda, who had attended STA’s grand function in Goa in July and promoted the company in some videos”.

He further added “His exact role in the case can be ascertained only after investigation. If we find that his role was limited to only endorsement of the product (STA-Token brand) as per their business agreement, then we will make him a witness in our case”.

While giving an official statement, Govinda’s manager spoke to ETimes and said “half baked news has been circulated in the media, and that the actor has got nothing to do with it”.
