Gurdas Maan Moves High Court To Plead For Bail. Read To Know Why

Gurdas Maan has now decided to move to High Court to plead for bail in the case of hurting religious sentiments of the Sikh community. He had earlier faced rejection of Bail Plea from a local court, after which the singer decided to move to the High Court.

The singer has had a history of making controversial statements. And once again, during the annual fair at the Dera Baba Murad Shah Ji, Nakoder, Gurdas Maan was seen making a very controversial statement that didn’t go well with many people.

The singer called the former head of the Dera, Sai Laddi Shah Ji, a descendant of the Third Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Amardas Ji. The Sikh community was completely disappointed with the singer for making such remarks and called the statement ‘disrespectful’. They demanded strict legal actions against the singer for comparing Sai Laddi Shah Ji to the Great Sikh Guru without any solid proof or evidence and hurting the religious sentiments of millions of Sikhs around the world.

The singer immediately came forward to apologize on the issue and clarified that both, Shri Guru Amardas Ji and Sai Laddi Shah Ji belong to the ‘Bhalla’ family, so Laddi Shah Ji is a natural descendant of The Guru. The Sikh community was again outraged by this statement and replied that there are many ‘Bhalla’ families all over the world, they do not become descendants of The Third Master.

An FIR was registered against Gurdas Maan following the demands and protests by the Sikh community against the artist. And Gurdas Maan moved to a local court to plead for bail, which was rejected by the court. Now, the singer has decided to take the matter to the High court in view of justice and expects the judicial system to provide him Bail in the case.
