Punjabi Actor, Director & Man Behind Moosetape’s Intro Gurinder Dimpy Dies At 47!

A wave of gloom and sorrow has spread over the Punjabi Film Industry. Popular actor and director Gurinder Dimpy has passed away at the age of 47. He was also known as Gurinder Singh Mongia. His sudden demise has shocked the artists of the industry and all his admirers as well.

He was born in 1975 in Patiala and was a well-known name in the field of acting and direction in Punjabi Industry. In his career, he worked with popular actors like Ammy Virk, Gippy Grewal, Tarsem Jassar, Sidhu Moosewala and many more.

His performances in movies like Laung Laachi, Carry On Jatta 2, Vadhaiyan Ji Vadhaiyan, Uda Aida, Zakhmi, and more were highly appreciated by his fans and industry friends. 

Apart from being a talented actor and director, he was also an acclaimed writer. He recently penned the dialogues of the highly appreciated romantic movie Lover starring Guri. And he also penned the story of Sidhu Moosewala’s film Moosa Jatt. His bond with late singer Sidhu Moosewala was indeed very special as he had also given his voice for the intro of Sidhu Moosewala’s Moosetape

His bold and impactful voiceover attracted massive fame towards him and helped him earn a lot of appreciation from all around.
