The known and popular director of Punjabi Film Industry, Jagdeep Sandhu has turned 36 today. Jagdeep made his remarkable debut as a director in Punjabi Film Industry with our most favourite film Qismat starring Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles. This film not only helped Jagdeep reserve his special place in Punjabi Industry but also made the audience realise what’s different in his work.
When Punjabi Cinema was considered good only for comedy and not so serious content, then was the time Jadgeep Sidhu entered the race and proved everybody wrong. He made films which said loud and clearly that quality content rules over glamour. He proved that comedy could be a part of content but for making the content stand out, it needs other aspects with comedy as well. After Qismat, he made Shadaa, Surkhi Bindi and Sufna too, which all won our hearts. Now he is working on the sequels of his superhits projects Qismat and Sufna, which are expected to hit the theatres in 2021.
Before stepping into Direction, Jagdeep worked as a writer who wrote stories, screenplays and dialogues for superhit films like Nikka Zaildaar, Sargi and Harjeeta.
