A video has recently surfaced and gone viral on the internet. Many content pages have shared it on their social media platforms and applauded the effort and positivity of the man in the video. The man mentioned here is a White Sikh, named Johnjeet Singh, who is seen preaching Sikh Religion and about the life of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to a band of visitors there. He dressed himself up as a sikh, wearing the black turban on his head like the crown of a proud Sikh. He is from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
Carrying an image of the great Sikh guru, the gora can be heard saying that this is the 10th master of the Sikh Religion. He sacrificed his whole family so that the people of India could not be forced to convert their religion by the King. The king wanted to convert all the Hindus of the country to Islam, but Guru ji did not allow this to happen and fought for them. He sacrificed his 4 sons, his father and his mother so that justice shall prevail.
He further goes on to describe why he loves Sikhism and decided to be a sikh. According to him, Sikh religion gives him happiness. When you’re a sikh you love everyone, you respect everyone and start loving life. Sikhism is pure and it’s from the heart.

The punjabi community all over the world saw the video and felt extremely proud to see foreigners recognising the great sacrifice and the beauty of their religion. On one hand, many Punjabis seem to have forgotten that their religion, their turban, their pride has been earned by their ancestors through countless sacrifices, and on the other, people of foreign ethnicities are feeling the beauty of the religion.
