Though Punjabi cinema is one of the most successful regional cinemas in the country, the industry is yet to establish itself the same way on OTT platforms. There aren’t any major Punjabi web series on OTT platforms. “Yaar jigri kasooti degree” or “Gangland in Motherland” on youtube are the only notable ones. But, with time, it becomes necessary for every industry to keep up with the latest trends, and the latest trend, of course, is of web series.
“Haweli Wale”, the latest Punjabi web series has been announced by Arsara Music through a poster shared by their Instagram account. The release date hasn’t yet been revealed but it’s been confirmed that the web series will be releasing on Heeroz, an OTT platform dedicated to Punjabi releases. The series is directed by Gourav KR Bargota, produced by Sukhjinder Bhachu and the script’s been written by Simipreet kaur.
The series stars Sanju Solanki, Sinder Pal Kaur, Malkit Rouni and various artists.
