Heart-wrenching Video from Manikaran Sahib Shows River Water Flowing Above the Main Bridge

Monsoon has created havoc in North India. Over 30 people are reported dead because of heavy rainfall and flood. Himachal Pradesh is the worst-affected state as of now. The water level in Bhakhra Nangal Dam and Parvati River has crossed the danger mark. There are several reports of mudslides, landslides and people drowning due to floods. The destruction has reached such a level that several houses and cars have been washed away. The incessant rain has swiped away a lot of shops, vehicles and bridges.

Recently the scary visuals of Himachal’s Manikaran Sahib are creating a lot of tension among the public. The water level in the Parvati river has crossed the danger mark and it is flowing above the main bridge. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to Twitter and shared the video of the havoc. He wrote “Disturbing video from Sri Manikaran Sahib where one can see Water entering premises of Gurdwara Sahib and the main entrance passage of the Gurdwara Sahib has also been submerged under the heavy flow of water. Waheguru Mehar Karan  Praying for everyone’s safety and well-being”

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has also appealed to the citizens to stay indoors and avoid stepping out for 24 hours. He has also shared 3 helpline numbers for assistance during this sensitive situation.

Manikaran Sahib is a gurudwara in Himachal Pradesh which is a pilgrimage centre for Sikhs and Hindus. The holy shrine is also popular for its hot water spring. On one side of the gurudwara, there flows cold and chilly water, and on the other side, boiling hot water flows.
