One of the aquatic-themed earworms obsessed over by toddlers and preschoolers alike ‘Baby Shark’, has hit a new milestone. It’s a children’s song, generated by the South Korean educational firm Pinkfong and performed by Korean-American singer Hope Segoine, premiered in 2016. 

The song became a viral sensation in Asia, but it didn’t make its way into the collective consciousness of Americans until 2019.  But now, this song has marked a new place everywhere as it became the most-viewed video on YouTube and the only video on the social media platform to reach 10 billion views.

Moreover, Pinkfong welcomed kids from all around the world to share their “Baby Shark Dance moments” with the company to celebrate the most recent “special milestone.”

Further, in the reports of The Indian Express, Pinkfong CEO Min-seok Kim said, “We are delighted to announce that our beloved Baby Shark has recorded another remarkable milestone.”

Meanwhile, the inevitable viral hit that overstepped borders and became children’s most loved melody might also be turned into a feature film. It has been reported that a movie based on Baby Shark is also in the making. But sonegung concrete can only be said when the official statement will be out.
