Hrithik Roshan to Direct Krrish 4, Making His Debut as a Filmmaker and Director

The much-loved superhero franchise Krrish is officially making a comeback with its fourth installment. This time, Hrithik Roshan will not only be part of the film but will also take on the role of director for the first time. The Krrish films, which stem from the success of the 2003 sci-fi hit Koi… Mil Gaya, were previously directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan.

Krrish 4 will be produced by Rakesh Roshan and Aditya Chopra, while Hrithik steps into the director’s chair. Sharing the news on Instagram, Rakesh posted a picture with Hrithik and wrote, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings!” Hrithik’s girlfriend, actor Saba Azad, reacted to the announcement with heart emojis, showing her support.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for a new Krrish film since the release of Krrish 3 in 2013. While Hrithik has always played the lead role, it remains to be seen whether he will continue portraying the superhero or if a new actor will take over. Details about the cast and crew have yet to be revealed, keeping audiences intrigued about what’s next.

The Journey of Krrish

The first Krrish film, released in 2006, continued the story from Koi… Mil Gaya. It followed Krishna Mehra, the son of Rohit and Nisha, who grew up in isolation under the care of his grandmother Sonia. His life changed when he ventured out into the world, following his love interest Priya. Eventually, he took on the superhero identity of Krrish to fight against evil.

As one of India’s most successful superhero franchises, Krrish has left a lasting impact on audiences. With Hrithik now leading the film both on and off-screen, Krrish 4 is expected to be an exciting new chapter in the saga. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates as the film progresses toward production.
