Hulk Hogan dies at 71 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24, 2025. The WWE icon was pronounced dead after emergency services responded to a 911 call that morning. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby facility, but he could not be revived.

The wrestling world is mourning the death of Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea. He became a global superstar in the 1980s and was the face of WWF with his trademark red-and-yellow gear and catchphrases. His sudden death shocked fans, especially after recent rumors had been denied.

Hogan wasn’t just a wrestling star. He crossed into pop culture with appearances in movies like Rocky III and his own TV show, Hogan Knows Best. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice—once in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the nWo faction.

On social media, stars and fans posted tributes. Ric Flair wrote, “I’ve lost a brother today.” WWE updated its homepage with a black tribute banner. WWE has not yet announced a public memorial, but fans expect a full tribute on the next episode of Monday Night Raw.

Hulk Hogan’s death marks the end of an era. He helped build WWE into a global powerhouse.
