“I Can’t Even Hug My Mother Because I Have COVID”: Vishal Dadlani As He Loses His Father

Music composer Vishal Dadlani who is known for his works on films like Om Shanti Om, Ra.One, Chennai Express among others has recently shared a heartfelt news with his fans. Vishal took to social media and posted his father’s picture and shared that his father has passed away on 8 January.

He wrote a profound note on his social media handle and revealed that he could not even be with his mother during this hard time because of Covid-19. His note read, “Shri Moti Dadlani (12 May 1943 -8 Jan 2022). Lost my best friend, the nicest and kindest man on earth, last night. I couldn’t have asked for a better Father, or a better person to be my teacher for life. Anything good in me is just a pale reflection of him. He was in ICU for the last 3/4 days (due to a gall bladder surgery that went bad) but I couldn’t go from yesterday on because I tested positive for Covid. I can’t even go hold my Mother in her most difficult time. It’s really not fair.”

He then informed everyone that his sister was handling everything and ended the note. He wrote, “Thankfully, my sister is handling everything with far more strength than I would be able to muster up. I don’t know how to live in a world without him. I’m completely lost.”

Meanwhile, on Friday Vishal Dadlani revealed on his social media handle that he was diagnosed with coronavirus. He shared a picture of his COVID-19 test-strip and urged everyone who came in contact with him to get themselves tested. And now due to this, the musicians could not perform the last rite of his father.

Team Kiddaan offers its heartfelt condolences to the actor’s family and fans. May the departed soul Rest In Peace.
