IIFA 2025 Full Awards List; Laapataa Ladies And Amar Singh Chamkila Win Big

The IIFA Awards marked their 25th edition with a grand celebration in Jaipur over the weekend. The festivities began on March 8 with a focus on recognizing excellence in OTT cinema and series. At the IIFA 2025 Digital Awards, Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Diljit Dosanjh, won Best Film. The Netflix biopic, based on Punjab’s legendary singer, was praised for its compelling storytelling and music. Imtiaz Ali also won Best Director for the film, further cementing its impact and taking Punjabi cinema to new heights.

The following night, the best in film were honored, with Laapataa Ladies emerging as the biggest winner, bagging ten awards. The social dramedy directed by Kiran Rao took home major accolades, including Best Picture, Best Direction, and Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) for Nitanshi Goel. Ravi Kishan also won Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his performance in the film.

Kartik Aaryan won Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male) for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while Raghav Juyal was recognized as Best Performance in a Negative Role for Kill. The awards night also celebrated fresh talent, with Lakshya Lalwani (Kill) and Pratibha Ranta (Laapataa Ladies) winning Best Debut honors.
