Khan made offensive comments about local women in the since-deleted video, which many viewers denounced as s*xist and improper.

Both Turkish and Indian audiences reacted negatively to the content after it swiftly went viral. According to reports, Turkish authorities detained the vlogger for interrogation after responding to the complaints made by local residents.
Khan removed the contentious video from all of his platforms and apologized publicly after being freed. He acknowledged that his remarks were improper in a subsequent video and pledged to act more responsibly going forward. He apologized and clarified that he never meant to offend anyone.

This incident occurs at a time when a number of content producers are coming under increased scrutiny for acting disrespectfully or culturally insensitively while traveling overseas. Discussions concerning the obligations of digital influencers and the repercussions of transgressing moral limits abroad have been rekindled by Khan’s case.
Although they have not yet filed formal charges, Turkish authorities have issued a warning that more severe punishments may result from future infractions. Indian social media users have also demanded greater accountability from influencers who represent their nation abroad.
