According to police sources, Apoorva Makhija and Ashish Chanchlani said in their statement that ‘India’s Got Latent’ is unscripted, allowing the panelists and contestants to speak freely during the show.
They also told the police that the judges are not paid but they can share the show’s content on social media. Sources said that contestants have to buy tickets to participate and the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the winner. In an interview with CNN-News18, Rakhi Sawant claimed that she was paid to appear on India’s Got Latent. Despite this, she supported Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina amid the ongoing controversy.
