Veteran actor and comedian Jaaved Jaaferi is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a social media hack. On April 12, he revealed through an Instagram post that his X (formerly Twitter) account had been compromised. Sharing a screenshot that displayed an error message stating, “Sorry we could not find your account,” he brought attention to the issue with a twist of humor.
In his caption, Jaaved wrote, “So my X account (@jaavedjaaferi) has been hacked. I sincerely request those that are following me on Twitter to complain to X about. Saada Hack… Aetthe Rakh!!” The witty line referenced the popular song “Sadda Haq” from Rockstar, expressing his frustration in a light-hearted way.
The post drew a flurry of reactions. While many fans expressed genuine concern, others were puzzled by the nature of the error, wondering if it was truly a hack or possibly an account suspension. Some could still see his X account and suggested reaching out to X support. A few fans even used iconic dialogues from Dhamaal to cheer him up.
This incident adds to a growing list of celebrity hacks. Singers like Shreya Ghoshal and actors like Swara Bhasker have recently reported similar breaches, pointing to increasing threats on social platforms.
Meanwhile, Jaaferi continues to juggle multiple projects, including Inn Galiyon Mein and the upcoming Dhamaal 4, which is currently in production and expected to hit screens in 2025.
