Qismat 2 is one of the biggest films of the year 2021 and easily the most anticipated. The original Qismat is embarked in the history books of the Punjabi Cinema as an all-time great and when the sequel to it was announced, the fans were over-excited.
Qismat 2 is set to be released this year on 23 September. The official title track of the film has been officially released and another track titled ‘Janam’ has also been dropped on Youtube by the Qismat 2 team. Before the worldwide theatrical release of the film on 24 September, the director of the film, Jagdeep Sidhu, has revealed what inspired him to make Qismat 2.
Jagdeep Sidhu Makes A Huge Statement About Qismat 2
Jagdeep Sidhu added a couple of stories on his official Instagram account. In the first one, the director wrote, ‘The creator is one. We all inspire from his creations’ and then he went on to reveal the inspiration of Qismat 2 in the very next story. He shared a clip of a singer, Vishal Mishra, singing a song. Jagdeep revealed that this was the song that inspired him to make Qismat 2.
Vishal Mishra is the same singer that sang and produced the song ‘Kaise Hua’ from the Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh. It is so interesting that a song from him inspired Jagdeep Sidhu to make a whole movie. The world is full of inspirations, we just need to look at them and recognize them.
