Jay Randhawa is once again back to make a mark with his acting! After his brilliant performance in ‘Shooter’, he is all set to play the lead in the film ‘Durlabh’. It is a film based on the life of infamous gangster, Durlabh Kashyap. The announcement has been made through a social media post, sharing the poster of the film.
Durlabh Kashyap was one of the most infamous gangsters from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Even at the age of just 20, his criminal records had become huge in number. Durlabh was most famous for his habit of advertising his crimes. He had even written “Contact to solve any type of matter”. He used to threaten people and even accept suparis over Facebook itself. He was murdered in a gangwar at the age of 20.
The poster features Jay Randhawa sitting in the iconic Durlabh Kashyap pose and it is visible that he’s gone through a complete makeover. You wouldn’t even be able to recognize it is Jay if it wasn’t written on the poster.

Not much has yet been revealed about the cast of the movie. Jay Randhawa will play the lead, Durlabh Kashyap and rest of the cast remains a mystery as of now. Neither an announcement regarding the release date of the film has yet been made.
The film is presented under the banner of a fresh production house in the industry, Middle Class Boy Productions. It is directed by the man who has recently been the talk of the town, Maneesh Bhatt. In the past few years, Maneesh Bhatt has impressed the audience with his work in Zila Sangrur, Panchhi and Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi.
Jay Randhawa made his debut in the film industry with Shooter, which was a film based on the gang life. This time again, Jay is set to lead in a Gangster film. His performance in Shooter had left viewers stunned. Nobody could tell that it was the young lad’s first ever big screen appearance. The audience also has high hopes from Durlabh and expect it to be another explosion just like Shooter.
